In the new museum Peter Hans Felzmann and his Linz concern MONTE PROJECTS have developed and constructed innovative multimedia ensembles for the presentation of the Monastery. By means of the latest media techniques visitors will be shown in three separate rooms films about the life and Rule of St. Benedict as also the history of the Monastery on interactive recall. 

The link between the old, restored walls, rich in tradition, and modern multimedia technology has been quite deliberately envisaged. Benedict of Nursia is presented both in his spirituality and as a courageous, persistent and strong personality. The boundaries between the 5th and the 21st centuries merge excitingly together. The message and the life of St. Benedict is transmitted in various ways. The “Way of the Rule” is shown in a special room of mirrors. The enormous effect achieved by simple means - the individual picture is multiplied to give the impression of a huge, three-dimensional sphere - irritates, astounds and convinces. The sound techniques leave a lasting impression.
