There are so many storys and adventures, so that I have much to read. You should know, that I have a lot of friends here in the museum. Together we experience everyday some fascinating adventures. The Admont Abbey houses the world largest monastery library and a museum, which brings together under the same roof art from the Middle Ages to the present. Take the unique oportunity to discover and get to know exciting things of the house. There are lots of hidden corners round the Monastery and the church which can be explored together with Monti! Equipped with a map kids could find the hidden treasures!

SUMMER FUN FOR CHILDREN IN THE LARGEST MONASTERY LIBRARY IN THE WORLD AND THE MUSEUM
Want to be a museum explorer? Then there’s something you should know. Admont Abbey is not only home to a very diverse museum but also to the largest monastery library in the world. This is a genuine gem of the Baroque period in the midst of fascinating and exciting treasures that can, quite literally, be explored with the help of secret passages. We have prepared a treasure map to help young museum explorers discover the hidden treasures for themselves. Can you find out what is concealed behind the secret doors of the library? There will also be a programme for children during the summer holidays with workshops on the subjects of “Angels, acrobats and artists of flight in the animal world” and “Where can you get closest to heaven?” For children, a visit to the museum thus becomes a real all-round experience!
