DVERI PAX – the wines of Admont Abbey
Records show that, as early as 1139, Benedictine monks were already making wine in Jarenina in Northern Slovenia. Today, DVERI PAX combines the skills honed over the centuries with the benefits of cutting-edge technology. The Abbey owns 168 acres of vineyards in the regions of Maribor, Jeruzalem, Radgona and Kapela. What particularly distinguishes the wines that bear the DVERI PAX label is their premium quality and diversity. They range from fresh fruity white wines to full-bodied, spicy reds. The DVERI PAX wines have won various international awards. You can prebook a tasting session in Admont Abbey’s Museum and discover the delights of our award-winning wines.
The Stiftskeller restaurant at Admont is happy to cater for large groups and coach parties and can provide seating for up to 300 guests. Our own à la carte menu and our meal package deals for tour groups have proved particularly popular.
Frauenberg restaurant and café

The Abbey pharmacy is currently leased to Mag. Peter Pickl.
The Benedictine monks of Admont Abbey opened the St. Benedikt nursing home in Frauenberg in 1996. The purpose of the home is to help elderly persons in need of care to live their lives in dignity despite their physical and cognitive limitations and, above all, to offer them a high quality of life in familiar surroundings.
